Geruchten over Meetro en Google onwaar?

Meetro mede oprichter Wendell Davis III ontkent dat zijn bedrijf gekocht wordt door Google. In een vraaggesprek met Randy Charles Morin, weblogger van iBLOGthere4iM, antwoordt Davis ontkennend:

“Well, as for the rumors, I hope to hell that they are true! We love Google, and I can certainly see why people might think that Meetro would fit in with their product line. We’ve talked with some people there — they were aware of us before the story broke — but the fact of the matter is that no acquisition is taking place.” [bron]
